Position

The objective is to elevate our team with the newly established Office ManagerAccounting & Admin. Services position (focus on bookkeeping and administrative services).  The position will carry out a variety of duties including; bookkeeping / general accounting, cash management, human resources/contract review, and reporting & analysis. 


Duties & Responsibilities


Bookkeeping / General Accounting duties, including:

  • Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable
  • Analysis for Major Asset Acquisitions
  • Bank Account Reconciliation
  • General Ledger Management
  • Month & Year End Closing
  • LIFO Management
  • Maintaining Banking Relationship
  • Overseeing Non-inventory Purchases
  • Prepare 1099’s
  • Additional Projects as needed


Human Resources/Contract Review, including:

  • Compensation Packages and Analysis
  • Employment Opportunities, Reviewing Resumes, and Conducting Interviews
  • Maintaining Employee Benefits
  • Insurance Packages and Analysis
  • Policies & Procedure Management
  • Review contract & licensing agreements


Reporting & Analysis, including:

  • Budgeting, Forecasting, and Projections
  • Company Specific Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Reports
  • Generate and Reconcile Monthly & Yearly Financials
  • LIFO


The person in this position is expected to help define and evolve the role over time, including:

  • Establishing additional clarity and definition around position activities and expectations.
  • Reviewing and updating standard operating procedures.
  • Providing ongoing insights, suggestions and recommendations for the position and related roles and activities.



Experience & Requirements


This is a flexible position open to candidates with varying levels of experience.  Candidates should demonstrate exceptional organizational, time management, and prioritization skills and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word is expected and experience with enterprise software solutions (e.g. CRM, ERP) is a bonus.
